I first became interested in Macro & Close up photography a few years ago. Originally interested in Astronomy, someone suggested I tried Astrophotography. It seemed like a natural progression to
my hobby. but sadly, as with most things, life got in the way and I never seemed to find the time to set everything up and photograph some of the wonders of the universe, but the itch still lingered to see the unusual.
Occasionally I would take the odd pic, but nothing really got my attention until, one day, I was in the garden photographing a butterfly. When looking at the pictures, the details really stood out to me. I soon discovered a whole new world of Macro photography, and the things most people simply just don't see.
